Isaiah 35:1-2
The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad, the desert shall rejoice and blossom; like the crocus it shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice with joy and singing.
The promises of God are promises for transformation. Transformation that wells up within us through the power of the Holy Spirit can change us as we hear God’s speaking to us. Sometimes though we need to be bold enough to change as the Spirit inspires us.
I can remember the first time I came across Kid President on the web and was struck by how true his words were “we need a pep talk”. Maybe in his innocence we can hear a smattering of the Spirit speaking to giving us a pep talk to transform our lives as well.
